about us

Stacks Creative is a family owned video production company. Based out of Flint, Michigan, we specialize in the art of video storytelling. We partner with other production companies, businesses, artists, groups, and agencies to deliver quality video content. We also partner with couples and families to film special moments like weddings and anniversaries.

After working in film production for over 15 years, Grant McClure started work as Stacks in 2022. A year later he was joined by his brother, Cole, to help expand our reach and better serve our clients. Then, Stacks Creative launched officially in July of 2023.

Growing up, we watched our dad build houses from the ground up. As a framer, he would transform an empty lot into a home.

Like framing a house, we build your video from the initial vision and cinematography to the editing and final polish. Ultimately, crafting a story that is inspired and visually stunning.

Let’s collect all of the parts and pieces to your story and stack them one by one until we create something magical.

Cole is the owner and business manager at Stacks Creative. He received a master's degree in leadership from Rochester University. He is, also, the current lead pastor at Valley Church in Burton, Michigan. When he's not working he loves spending time with his wife of 10 years, Kalita, and their two daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, running with his two dogs, Chevy and Bea, and cooking up some delicious barbecue. Also, really likes coffee.

From the very beginning, Stacks demonstrated a clear understanding of the purpose and emotional depth of HeART to Canvas: A Portrait of Love, Loss, and Community. They approached the project with exceptional professionalism and genuine compassion, especially in his interactions with families affected by crime.

Stacks did not simply document the initiative. Through thoughtful storytelling and an intuitive use of the camera, they captured the love, loss, and resilience at its core in a way that is deeply moving. The final video is more than something to watch, it is something to experience, and it will undoubtedly touch everyone who sees it.
